Llingua, manera de hablar de un pueblo, su idioma, su lengua, etc. —Na Nuexa Melgueira Tierrina tenemus la CHINGUA D'ASTURIES, que sin ningún género de dudas es el verdadero origen del idioma español, aunque muchos investigadores que lejos de investigar lo único que hacen algunos de ellos es inventar mentiras tan atroces, como cuando afirman que el idioma Español nació en no se que lugares fuera de mi Tierrina, lo que no saben estos buenos señores es que Asturias es la Madre de las Españas, y no porque Asturias lo hubiese querido, sino porque todos los españoles se vieron obligados a hacerlo. —Mucho antes que los romanos hubieran romanizado Asturias y no por la fuerza de sus armas como en otros lugares de la Patria habían hecho, sino buscando caminos más inteligentes y humanos, ya todos los pueblos de España sabían que hacia el norte lindando con un mar cristalino y bravío, había unas ricas y misteriosas tierras, que eran como jardines del Hacedor Supremo, donde vivían como si en la gloria lo estuvieran, unas gentes aguerridas y bravías, que no se dejaban someter por nadie, que sus libertades y propiedades quisieran. Fue entre otras muchas razones que son largas de explicar y aquíndi nun tenen xeitu, la que indujo a los fius dalgus (hijos hidalgos), y guerreros de toda la Patria, al ser vencidos y sometidos tiránica y esclavizadoramente por el árabe invasor, que no dejaba tras de él que resurgiera tradición ni ancestro alguno, digo que así llegaron a mi Tierrina miles de gentes de todos los lugares de la Patria España, haciendo que la población de Asturias en pocos meses se multiplicase por diez, o quizás por veinte, estas gentes que ya jamás regresarían a sus ancestrales llares, eran portadoras de toda la cultura, tradiciones, costumbres y demás acerbo cultural que tenía la Patria. Y fue precisamente en Asturias cuando por primera vez fraternalmente se unieron todos, formando un pueblo joven y aguerrido, que se había juramentado para no huir jamás de aquel enemigo endiosado, que tras de sí todo el ancestro del vencido destruía, para colocar por la fuerza el suyo propio que por desgracia habría de durar muchos siglos. —Con este sencillo y corto razonamiento pretendo hacer comprender a todas las gentes de la Estirpe Hispana, que para encontrar sus raíces verdaderas, y las ancestrales costumbres de sus antepasados, tendrán que empezar a estudiar, querer, respetar y proteger, lo poco que queda ya de la Tradición y acerbo cultural de Asturias, ya que es aquí precisamente donde nacieron sus primeras raíces. Puede que en todas las hermosas y queridas Regiones de la Patria España, tengan sus frutos más preciados y queridos, pero las verdaderas Raíces de toda la Hispanidad, nacieron y viven en Asturias, y mi querida Tierrina las guarda celosa y silenciosamente, llenándose a la vez de profunda tristeza y pena, al comprobar, como gran parte de los hijos que viven en su propia casa, intentan por todos los medios desde hace varias generaciones, destrozarlas o arrancarlas, pero lo que no saben quienes ignoren esto, es que las raíces de un pueblo vencedor no mueren nunca.————————Llingua, órgano bucal.Primer Diccionario Enciclopédicu de la Llingua Asturiana > llingua
