Por aquellos tiempos era la Santina de la aldea lo mismo que un divino ser viviente, al que todas las gentes le rogaban favores y consejos, por todas estas cosas las gentes siempre le estaban ofreciendo cosas, así era, que el día de su fiesta lo mismo tras la procesión de la Dulce Santina iban una docena de ramos hechos amorosamente con la mejor harina de escanda que alumbraban sus productivas tierras.
