event
Each sport and discipline has at least one event. An event is defined in the Olympic Charter as a competition in a sport or in one of its disciplines, resulting in a ranking and giving rise to the award of medals and diplomas. For example in short track, which is a skating discipline, 500 m, 1,000 m, 1,500 m, etc. races are events conducted as part of the short track program. (See Olympic Charter Rule 46.2)

событие
1. См. 2.

(ITIL Service Operation)

(ITIL Service Operation)
A change of state that has significance for the management of an IT service or other configuration item. The term is also used to mean an alert or notification created by any IT service, configuration item or monitoring tool.
