La hierba se puede arrancar de los pajares de dos maneras, o con las manos, que es muy cansado y peligroso, por causa de los múltiples espinos que tiene, o con el gancho de arrancar la hierba, que esta hecho de un espinero, que tiene la mejor madera para industriar, un buen gancho.
