f, ист.состоялась с мая по ноябрь 1873 в Пратере с целью демонстрации блеска власти Австро-Венгерской монархии периода грюндерства. В выставке приняли участие более тысячи участников из 40 стран, она привлекла ок. 7 млн. посетителей. Работа выставки была прекращена раньше намеченного срока в связи с крахом венской биржи и начавшейся эпидемией холеры. Центральным зданием выставки была Ротонда - круглое здание диаметром 108 м со стеклянным куполом высотой 85 м (архитекторы Хазенауер и Шмидт), сгорело в 1937Австрия.
