Dans l'Albanais, en principe, on le prononce ê long quand il est suivi d'une syllabe tonique ou d'une syllabe longue et ê bref dans les autres cas. Ainsi: s'êvolâ < s'envoler> avec ê bref donne é s'êvule < il s'envole> avec ê et u longs ; pêdre < pendre> avec ê bref donne pêdu < pendu> (Albanais) avec ê long.-- Le suffixe adverbial "-ENT" suit aussi le même chemin. - E.: Également, Vraiment. - La graphie française "ER" suivie d'une consonne non muette devient ar en savoyard. Ainsi: sarpê / -an < serpent> (Albanais / Morzine) (consonne non muette). Le verbe pêrdre < perdre> inf. (consonne muette) devient pardu < perdu> pp. (consonne non muette). On peut dire aussi qu'elle reste êr quand elle porte l'accent tonique, et devient ar quand elle ne le porte plus.
