•CHOICE OF WORDS:(1.) Русское словосочетание спасать кого-либо, что-либо может соответствовать английским глаголам to save и to rescue. Оба глагола используются в конструкциях to save/to rescue smb, smth и to save/to rescue smb, smth from smth, но имеют различные значения.
