Экономическая эффективность производства
Аспект функционирования рынка, определяющий его эффективность при производстве товаров и услуг с наименьшими издержками и использованием современных технологий. Эффективность производства достигается в том случае, если производство осуществляется на предприятии оптимального размера (optimal scale) и если на рынке существует долгосрочное равновесие. 2 RATIONALIZATION
Рационализация
Реорганизация отрасли или фирмы с целью создания условий для более эффективного использования имеющихся ресурсов. Рационализация обычно подразумевает закрытие высокозатратных производств - они либо поглощаются другими фирмами, либо уходят из отрасли. Это позволяет сосредоточить производство на предприятиях, имеющих минимальный экономически эффективный размер (см. Minimum efficient scale), и достичь рыночного равновесия между спросом и предложением за счет устранения избыточных мощностей. В рамках отдельной фирмы рационализация подразумевает упрощение организационной структуры с целью снижения накладных расходов.
