I. dovere v.tr. (pres.ind. dèvo/dèbbo, dèvi/ poet dèi, dève, dobbiàmo, dovéte, dèvono/dèbbono; fut. dovrò; p.rem. dovètti/ rar dovéi; pres.cong. dèbba/ rar dèva, dobbiàmo, dobbiàte, dèbbano/dèvano; pres.cond. dovrèi; pas d'impératif; p.p. dovùto; quand dovere est utilisé comme auxiliaire de mode, il prend généralement l'auxiliaire du verbe avec lequel il est utilisé) 1. (obbligo, necessità) devoir: devi lavorare di più tu dois travailler plus; sono dovuto uscire j'ai dû sortir. 2. (in proposizioni negative: essere obbligato) devoir: non devi lavorare più di otto ore tu ne dois pas travailler plus de huit heures. 3. ( essere necessario) devoir: non devi stare in casa se non vuoi tu ne dois pas rester à la maison si tu n'en as pas envie (o si tu ne veux pas); dovrò forse assentarmi per qualche giorno je devrai peut-être m'absenter quelques jours. 4. * * *molto/'molto/Molto può essere usato come aggettivo, pronome o avverbio. - Come aggettivo e come pronome, si traduce con much davanti o al posto di nomi non numerabili ( molto vino = much wine; molta cura = much care; ne hai mangiato molto? = have you eaten much (of it)?) e many davanti o al posto di sostantivi plurali ( molti nemici = many enemies; molti (di loro) non vivono a Londra = many (of them) don't live in London).
