Porzig Satzinhalte 311f.), Alb. lagje `band, group', all from IE * logho- (formally = λόχος); OCS lože ' κλίνη, κοίτη'; OHG lehtar `uterus' = λέκτρον; in Slav., e. g. OCS ložes-no, pl. -na ' μήτρα, uterus' prob. the s-stem in λέχος. With ἄ-λοχος cf. Serb.-Csl. su-logъ ' σύγ-κοιτος, spouse' (Russ.-Csl. su-ložь). Toch.
