79 Countable and uncountable nouns
Sparkling wines shall be transparent and without foreign inclusions — Игристые вина должны быть прозрачными и не должны содержать посторонних примесей.
К существительным, которые являются неисчисляемыми в английском языке, но на русский язык обычно переводятся исчисляемыми существительными, относятся:advice - советДля указания на отдельную "часть" неисчисляемых предметов обычно используется слово piece: a piece of information, a piece of advice.4) С некоторыми неисчисляемыми существительными, в частности, со словами, обозначающими эмоции и умственную деятельность (knowledge, understanding, distrust, education и т.д.), возможно употребление неопределенного артикля a/an, если значение этих слов каким-либо образом ограничивается и уточняется (обычно с помощью прилагательного):He has a good practical knowledge of British law — Он обладает хорошим практическим знанием британского права.
