EN definition: 10-minute penalty assessed to a hockey player who verbally abuses an official or commits another foul. The offending player will remain off ice, but the team may immediately substitute another player on the ice. The player may return to the ice field at the first stoppage in play following the expiration of the penalty (unless other penalties were assessed).
