Cartiadura ou cartiaura, cuando una persona, animal o cosa está cartiá es que en alguna de sus vertientes esta mala, se ha estropeado sin romperse ni faltarle nada. Exemplu. —Bamos falar del gadañu cundu se cartia (vamos hablar de la gadaña cuando se hondula). La gadaña se puede cartiar por dos formas diferentes, la primera que el segador no la sepa cabruñar (adelgazar) y entonces la cartia, no teniendo nada que ver el filo de la gadaña, porque la cartiadura no tiene que ver nada con la melladura del filo, y la segunda manera es que al estar segando uno pegue con la punta de la gadaña contra un cuetu (piedra), o corte un arbusto muy duro, etc., etc. Así pues se entiende perfectamente que la cartiaura no tiene que ver nada en absoluto con la melladura de las cosas. Y tocante a las personas les pondré el siguiente ejemplo. De rexultes de la tarrasca qu’acoyí ayeri, güéi tenu ‘l curpu cartiáu na tal fondura que nun tenu xixa de faer nagua.
