79 see through rosecoloured glasses
смотреть сквозь розовые очки; см. тж. see through blue glassesBut as long as districts like our court exist, can you blame people for seeing houses like Mr. Earl's through rose-coloured glasses? (J. Walsh, ‘Not Like This’, ‘I Am Married’) — Нет ничего удивительного в том, что людей восхищают дома, построенные мистером Эрлом, пока существуют такие трущобы, как у нас.
He's an awfully nice fellow, but I do think he has rather a habit of seeing everything through rose coloured spectacles, even when it doesn't deserve it! (SPI) — Он очень славный человек, но склонен все видеть в розовом свете, даже когда для этого нет оснований.
