•• Даже самые современные словари ограничиваются в описании этого слова такими значениями, как жулик, мошенник, негодяй, проказник, плюс несколько технических значений. Приводится также словосочетание rogue elephant (слон-отшельник), а также довольно известный полицейский термин rogue’s gallery (архив фотографий преступников). А теперь несколько примеров актуального употребления этого слова. Газета International Herald Tribune цитирует высказывание премьер-министра Малайзии: We still believe there are sincere investors out there.
