Y.Naz.I, beg.51a (read:) היידן אינון כינויי כינויין … מ׳ מנזיחנא מפזיחנא what are the substitutes of substitutes?… I will be a Nazik, a Naziḥ Ib. אין אלו כינויי כינויין כינויין ממש אינון אילן האומר מנזירנא שמא אינו נזיר כך האומר מנזיחנא מפזיחנא כאומר מנזירנא these are not substitutes of substitutes; these are direct substitutes. If one said manzirna (I will be a Nazir), is he not a Nazir? So he who says (turning the substitute nouns into verbs) must be considered as if he had said manzirna.
