    חִלְחֵל(b. h.; Pilp. of חלל) 1) to penetrate into cavities; to perforate. Sot.7b; Num. R. s. 9 מְחַלְחֵל ויורד (the powder on a wound) penetrates and goes down (into the body). Gen.
