n завтрак: an early (light, late) breakfast — ранний (легкий, поздний) завтрак (1). Названия видов приемов пищи и еды в сочетаниях типа to have breakfast (dinner, tea, coffee) соответствует русским глаголам завтракать, обедать, пить чай. Во всех этих случаях breakfast, dinner, supper и т. п. употребляются без артикля. При обозначении этими существительными приема пищи артикль также не употребляется:at breakfast (at dinner) — за завтраком (за обедом);
after (before) breakfast — после (до) завтрака;
to have something for breakfast — на завтрак.
