¿To see, to watch o to look?
Los tres verbos reflejan tres conceptos muy distintos. To see hace referencia a la capacidad visual y no es fruto de una acción deliberada. A menudo se usa con can o could: I can see the mountains from my bedroom. Puedo ver las montañas desde mi dormitorio.
To look at implica una acción deliberada: I saw an old atlas, so I opened it and looked at the maps. Vi un atlas antiguo, así que lo abrí y miré los mapas.
To watch también se refiere a una acción deliberada, a menudo cuando se tiene un interés especial por lo que ocurre: I watched the planes in the sky with great interest. Miraba los aviones en el cielo con gran interés. ¿To see, to watch o to look?
Los tres verbos reflejan tres conceptos muy distintos. To see hace referencia a la capacidad visual y no es fruto de una acción deliberada. A menudo se usa con can o could: I can see the mountains from my bedroom. Puedo ver las montañas desde mi dormitorio.
To look at implica una acción deliberada: I saw an old atlas, so I opened it and looked at the maps. Vi un atlas antiguo, así que lo abrí y miré los mapas.
To watch también se refiere a una acción deliberada, a menudo cuando se tiene un interés especial por lo que ocurre: I watched the planes in the sky with great interest. Como me llevaría muchos folios en hacerles comprender mis pensamientos, en este poema, ya que es la diosa poesía la mejor manera de decir las cosas sin perder el tiempo, por el decirme del mismo Xexús, yo les comunico su mandamiento. “EL CANCIETCHEIRU DEL FAIDOR” “EL PORTERO DEL HACEDOR” —Xebróuxe una nuétche pel xuenu miou penxamentu miou envidayer fasta 'l Ciellu, e achí topéi na sou porta comu prinxipal porteiru, al Xudes qu'aquín se fala, vendiú a Xexús naquel Güertu. —Mi sorpresa fue tan grande al ver tan alto suceso, que Cristo que cerca estaba se acercó a mí con cariño, y me dijo lo que cuento: —No te extrañe mi poeta de humildad en tus haceres y de grandeza de sueños, de ver a mi hermano Judas en mi casa de portero, pues sepan todas las gentes por tu sencillez contado, que Judas analfabeto, como Yo también lo fui, nunca fue mi tesorero ni me vendió por dinero. —Ya que yo he sido tan pobre que jamás quiso la suerte en el tiempo que viví, de tener entre mis manos a la vez más de un denario. —Y tan corto tiempo estaba tal moneda en mi poder, que jamás en mi bolsillo yo la quise recoger. —Y quien dijese que yo tuve una vez tesorero, la verdad que no mintió, pues mi obra y mi trabajo yo la hice para el Pueblo, el Pueblo la recogió si supo ser tesorero. —...¡sé que en la Tierra me pintan cuando festejan las Pascuas, montado en humilde burro desperado la humildad. —Diles poeta sencillo con tus glosas naturales que mienten por apurarse en querer decir verdades. —Sólo cuando de pequeño, que acompañaba a mi padre el Patriarca San José, a trabajar las maderas en cien aldeas dispares, el me subía al pollino porque cansado lo estar, y yo presto me apeaba y le decía a mi padre, que el pobre asno era viejo y más que yo se cansaba. —Diles también que fue Judas, el primero en bien amar a su pueblo esclavizado por el Romano invasor. —Diles también que fue Judas hombre labriego y honrado, que trabajó como esclavo para el Cesar desalmado, que le robó el ser Humano al chuparle su sudor. —Cuenta al mundo mi poeta, prisionero y humillado, analfabeto en las letras pues como tú no habrá dos, que Judas fue el primer Hombre que como a Dios me trató. —Y por esto le he legado el grande honor que le di, de ser él quien me vendiera, porque el que en mi no creyera no podría venderme a MI. —Y no me vendió por dineros, como cuentan los letreros que describen mi ser Hombre que aseguran mi ser Dios, ni tampoco por venganzas ni taimadas intenciones, ya que Judas me quería sabiendo que Yo era dios, por esto jamás pensó en nada que fuese malo, porque Judas bien sabía que Todo lo sabía Yo. —El me vendió a los malvados buscando la libertad, con la muy Humana idea, de que a todos yo venciera, a que su inocencia hermosa y firme creencia en Mí, pensaba que Yo de un soplo libre dejaría su tierra del despiadado invasor. —¡...Pobre Judas...! —¡Sentí pena cuando le vi atormentado, no alcanzando a comprender como sabiéndome Dios, me dejaba atropellar por aquella lacra Humana que tenía que vencer. —¡...Lo que Judas no sabía es que así habría de ser...! —Durante todo el calvario que como Hombre sufrí, más que Yo, Judas Sufrió, pues cada látigo horrendo que mis carnes laceró, o la palabra injuriosa, de quienes me insultó, eran para el pobre Judas más dolor y triste pena, que como hombre sufría Yo. —Cuando después de ser muerto y mi cuerpo sepultado, sólo Judas se creer, que Yo volvería a nacer otra vez con mi poder, para dar, nuevo volver a ser su hermano y amigo, a ser su Dios venerado, muy querido y adorado, por esto allí escondido, muy cerca de mi sepulcro, de tristezas abnegado, con alegrías mezclado, el esperaba el momento de Yo ser resucitado. —Pero no aguantando el cuerpo tanto puro sufrimiento que hasta el dolor le llevaba, ni tanta sana alegría que al ser feliz trasladaba, fue vencido por el sueño, y así dormido lo estaba cuando yo lo reparaba, y le halagué con cariño, y mis manos al tocarle y mi voz cuando le habló, le hicieron dejar el sueño cuando yo le desperté. —Vino Judas hacía Mí, no con miedo a su castigo que él sabía no tener, pues todo su ser entero era un júbilo del Cielo, entregado por entero al amor que me tener. —Yo le miré felíz, y fue tan grande mi gozo de verle a él tan feliz, que me dió pena al decirle, que él quedaría en el mundo marcado como el traidor, que a Cristo vendió en el Huerto y tal venta no existió, porque lo que hizo Judas como Hombre lo haría Yo. —Y así el Dios Jesucristo que yo visite en el sueño, estando en cárceles preso, se despedía de mí, y hablando en mi dulce lengua esto fue lo que escuche: —Cuerre galamia con preixa, poeta que fás falancies na melgueira llingua astur, pos ya chega 'l carceleiru a la porta tou cubíl, cunta 'l Mundiu cuntu dixe ya verás comu les xentes chuéu per llocu te tomar. —Fala tamén qu'el bon Xudas nun ye 'n miou Teixu baldrayu, xinun que ye ‘nte tóus lus qu'aquinde tan d'afechu, comu Humanu 'l mái llegal, ya que ye 'l canciétcheiru del Teixu del FAIDOR.Primer Diccionario Enciclopédicu de la Llingua Asturiana > xudas
