Доходность
Доход по ценным бумагам в денежном выражении, который рассчитывается как отношение процентной прибыли к текущей рыночной цене. Например, облигация номинальной стоимостью в Ј100 и 5-процентной ставкой принесет годовой доход в Ј5. Однако, если эту бумагу можно купить на открытом рынке за Ј50, тогда фактическая процентная ставка по ней увеличится до 10%, и доход составит Ј10 на вложенные Ј50. Чем ниже цена покупки облигации с фиксированной купонной процентной ставкой, тем выше ее доходность. Таким образом, существует обратнопропорциональная зависимость между ценой бумаги и ее доходностью (см. Effective interest rate). Для расчета доходности иногда используется текущий доход (flat/current yield), который, однако, не учитывает стоимости ценной бумаги при ее погашении. Такой расчет подходит для бессрочных ценных бумаг. Доход, учитывающий не только годовой процент, но также прибыль/убытки при наступлении срока погашения ценной бумаги, называется доходом при ее погашении (redemption yield). В том случае, когда текущая рыночная цена бумаги ниже цены при погашении, потенциальную прибыль при погашении нужно разделить на количество лет, оставшихся до даты погашения. Полученный в результате эквивалент годовой прибыли нужно прибавить к текущему доходу, чтобы определить величину дохода при погашении ценной бумаги. Если текущая цена выше установленной цены при погашении, потенциальный годовой убыток при наступлении срока погашения необходимо вычесть из текущего дохода. Такой расчет подходит для ценных бумаг, подлежащих погашению через определенный срок (см. Redeemable financial security). Доходность может выражаться в виде процента от рыночной цены облигации (см.
