(срок окупаемости инвестиций) Метод оценки инвестиционных проектов, когда важнейшим критерием их приемлемости выступает продолжительность периода, в течение которого окупаются первоначальные затраты. При этом предполагается, что вся отдача от инвестиций представляет собой чистую прибыль. Данный метод оценки инвестиционных проектов не очень точен (сравни: discounted cash flow( дисконтированные будущие наличные поступления); net present value( чистая текущая стоимость)), тем не менее он довольно широко применяется в промышленности. дисконтированный денежный потокбудущая стоимость ожидаемых денежных поступлений и выплат на конкретную дату. При анализе инвестиций в капитал или ценные бумаги для расчета этого показателя используются понятия чистой приведенной стоимости (Net Present Value, NPV) или внутренней нормы доходности (Internal Rate of Return, IRR). Метод NPV предусматривает применение дисконтированной ставки процента с маржинальной стоимости капитала по отношению к будущим денежным потокам для того, чтобы получить их текущую стоимость. Расчет IRR помогает обнаружить среднюю доходность инвестиции в течение всего периода ее работы.
