1. Способность активов обращаться в денежные средства. Измеряется с помощью коэффициентов.
2. Мера соотношения между денежными средствами или легкореализуемыми активами и потребностью предприятия в этих средствах для погашения наступивших обязательств.
3. Показатель скорости возможной реализации тех или иных активов при сохранении их стоимости.

ликвидность
1. В общем смысле – способность активов быть проданными на рынке: быстро и без больших затрат (высокая Л.) или медленно, с большими издержками (низкая Л.) Абсолютной Л. обладают наличные деньги. Другие активы обладают разной степенью Л.: от очень высокой (золото, казначейские ценные бумаги) до относительно низкой (здания, земля и т.п.). Под Л. понимается также способность предприятия своевременно рассчитываться со своими кредиторами (поскольку она определяется соотношением величины задолженности и имеющихся в распоряжении предприятия ликвидных средств), или возможность быстрой реализации на бирже ценностей без значительных потерь в цене, или способность рынка амортизировать внезапные изменения спроса и предложения. 2.Термином «ликвидность» часто сокращенно называют денежные средства, как наиболее ликвидные активы. То есть когда, например, говорят, что предприятию нужна ликвидность, это просто означает, что нужны деньги.
