Forse si rende in inglese per lo più con perhaps o maybe, ma quest'ultimo è d'uso più informale. - Bisogna fare attenzione a non confondere l'avverbio maybe (una parola) con l'uso del modale may, eventualmente seguito dal verbo be, a indicare possibilità: forse hai ragione = maybe you are right; può darsi che tu abbia ragione = you may be right.
