Fala, Lengua de Asturias. Yo he luchado en solitario durante toda mi existencia en la defensa de la Fala y Costumbres de mi Tierrina, porque he considerado que los Ancestros de Asturias son llana y concisamente las Raíces principales de la Patria España, que no sé porque razón de fondo, casi toda la Comunidad Hispana y inclusive gran parte de los mismos astures quieren desterrar, sepultar, olvidar, sin detenerse a pensar, que todo ser que pierde sus verdaderas raíces se deshumaniza, en el lleldar que se convierte en esclavo de un materialismo, tan sumamente exigente y explotativo, que le va marchitando la parcela divinizante de su espíritu, y un ser Humano con esta parcela muerta, por muy inteligente y preparado que se crea, en el fondo simplemente tan sólo es una mala bestia. Y sujetos con esta despreciable catadura yo he conocido muchos en mi Tierrina y conozco a muchos. Por ejemplo ahora, en el año mil novecientos ochenta, época en que estoy reformando algunas partes de este Diccionario, para atajar a los depredadores que con títulos y apoyos quieren mistificar con ridículas y estercolosas maneras, la natural y sencilla cultura de mi amada Asturias, dígoles que malas bestias son todos aquellos dirigentes que no quieren proteger las raíces del Pueblo que malamente gobiernan y despóticamente explotan, como lo están haciendo el alcalde de Oviedo, el de Gijón, el de Avilés, Piedras Blancas, Pola de Siero, el presidente de la llamada Junta de Asturias, con todos sus subordinados de caga la perra, el presidente de la Caja de Ahorros, etc., etc. Por otra parte este diccionario yo lo he hecho, quiero decir, sus vocablos muchos de ellos sin respuesta, hacia el año mil novecientos sesenta y cinco, en mil novecientos setenta edité unas cuatro mil palabras de este diccionario, que sirvieron para que los del Conceyu Bable pudieran hacerse notar editando un nuevo diccionario, que no les costó más trabajo, que copiar el mío haciéndole más fino y propagandístico, lo mismo que también intentaron hacer los Amigos del Bable, pues el tal Novo Mier-da, pues también empezó en el diario Región a publicar mi propio diccionario a la par que pedía al público que le enviasen vocablos, pensando él con su "rancuayu envidayaxe, que los Vocablos de Mi Tierrina eran meros desperdicios que rodaban a mamplen por todas las aldeas menos en su casa que al parecer no había ninguno y claro no había ninguno porque los Vocablos de mi Tierrina aun considerándolos como desperdicios, es menester sudarlos para poder conseguirlos, y no como desperdicios ya, sino convertidos en "soberanos Senores” en gran arte alumbradores de la cultura de la Hispanidad. En el año mil novecientos setenta y cinco o setenta y seis, no recuerdo bien, entre en contacto por mediación de tampoco se quién, ah… ahora, ya re recuerdo, porque en mis tiempos de pastor había, yo descubierto una mina de manganeso y en casa de mi madre había unas piedras que hacía más de treinta años que no bajara de la mina de manganeso, así es que las cogí y me fui a visitar con ellas al catedrático de minas García Conde, y hablando con él de cosas de Asturias, llegué a decirle que yo tenía un diccionario de la Lengua y algunas costumbres de nuestra Tierrina, y él me dijo que estaba con plaza en el Instituto de Estudios Asturianos, que le entregase el diccionario que fácil me podrían ayudar a publicarlo. Pero lo que hizo este catedrático fue entregarle mi honrado trabajo a Novo Mier, y menos mal que el diccionario estaba en porricas (desnudo) ya que muchos de sus vocablos no tenían ninguna respuesta, pero sí que le dieron la licenciatura al Novo Mier, para industriar su diccionario, que es un verdadero atentamiento criminal contra la "CHINGUA DE MIOU TIERRINA”. Hay que tener una cara tan grande como la luna, y un desconocimiento tan grande como el Sol de la Fala y Costumbres de mi Tierrina, para parir ese estercolero de diccionario que él editó. Pues tan sólo es creíble de él, los vocablos con respuesta que de mi trabajo me arrapiegóu. Yo sé positivamente que algún día algún asturiano amará la Lengua y las Costumbres de mi Tierrina lo mismo que lo hago yo, pero con la inmensa ventaja de tener inteligentes estudios y no ser un zoquete como lo soy yo, digo que ese astur, sabrá sacar sólo y exclusivamente provecho de la documentación que yo deje o tenga, para hacer una sencilla, hermosa y natural Lengua en nuestra Asturias, que servirá no para avanzar con ella en busca del progreso que nos hará en inmortales dioses, pues para eso tenemos el mejor y más amplio idioma de la Tierra como es su Majestad el Idioma Español, pero sí que servirá para entretenimientos, felices y hermosos momentos, etc. Ahora sólo le ruego al Hacedor que me permita vivir para poder gozar este momento, que yo creo que no debe de encontrarse muy lejano.Primer Diccionario Enciclopédicu de la Llingua Asturiana > fala

Esta obra escrita por Juan Ramón Bastarrachea Manzano, antropólogo social, Fidencio Briceño Chel, lingüista y Ermilo Yah Pech, bachiller, todos hablantes de maya y maestros del idioma, rescata el idioma maya hablado hoy en día. El idioma maya de Yucatán, de antigua estirpe, elevada cultura y sonoro cantar se plasma aquí de manera definitiva y en su uso actual.Según el profesor Romero en su artículo "Las lenguas mayas de México" (Arana de Swadesh, 1975), nos dice que: "El subgrupo maya-lacandón comprende cuatro formas dialectales de habla: yucateco, lacandón, mopán e itzá" y que el yucateco "se habla en los Estados de Yucatán, Campeche y quintana Roo. Existe, asimismo, un pequeño grupo de habla yucateca en Corozal, Belice. De estas cuatro formas de habla, el yucateco es el que mayor número de hablantes tiene; cuenta con varios cientos de miles". Es por esto que cobra una gran importancia este doble diccionario, aunque se restringe tan solo el maya de Yucatán.Comparando este diccionario con otros de la lengua maya incluido el Diccionario Maya Cordemex (Barrera Vásquez y otros), del cual es coautor J.R Bastarrachea; y de otras lengua mayances, por ejemplo The Great Tzotzil Dictionary of San Lorenzo Zinacantan de Robert Laughlin (Laughlin, 1975), se nota que no es una obra que intenta abarcar todo el idioma maya desde sus primeros registros coloniales, como en el primer caso, o que ofrezca un análisis exhaustivo de todas sus combinaciones morfológicas, como en el segundo caso. Más bien se trata de un diccionario del maya en uso actual, dirigido a los hablantes de maya y a los interesados no hablantes que quieran conocer el equivalente de las glosas mayas, sin todo el molesto aparato lingüístico de prefijos, sufijos, etc., pero se indican las partes de la oración como verbo, adjetivo, y curiosas especificaciones de género, masculino y femenino, para los sustantivos, aunque esto carece de valor en el idioma maya que en lugar de estos dos clasificadores de género tiene más de 140 clasificadores de tamaño, forma, configuración, etc.Pero también recupera el habla popular del español de Yucatán, pues abunda en regionalismos como "alpargata","achiote", "adobado", "ñame", etc. Y al mismo tiempo ofrece equivalentes mayas (evidentemente neologismos) de palabras como "kiosko", "klaxon", y aún de palabras como "jardín", "jaula", y otras que no son conceptos propios de la cultura maya, ya que son traducidas por formas perifrásticas.Una innovación en la ortografía usada en este volumen, que sigue casi todos los lineamientos de la ortografía del Diccionario Maya Cordemex (desechando la escritura tradicional, con el contraste de "C" y "K" y otros dobletes para indicar las consonantes glotalizadas o "heridas" es el uso, por primera vez, en diccionarios mayas de la marca del tono que sirve para distinguir muchas palabras aparentemente homófonas en otros diccionarios, por ejemplo: aak hierba gramínea, en contraste conáak tortuga;buuj partir, cascar, en contraste conchuuj quemar, en contraste conchúuj calabazo;eek' estrella, lucero, astro en contraste conéek' negro, obscuro, sucioEsta obra seguramente será de gran utilidad para los hablantes y los estudiosos de la lengua maya actual, tal como se habla en Yucatán y felicito, sinceramente a los autores por este esfuerzo para dar a conocer al mundo este idioma nuestro.Lingüísta Roberto Escalante H.Referencias:Arana de Swadesh, E.Barrera Vásquez, A. y otrosLaughlin, R.M.SEP/INAH.
