Un BBS (bulletin board system) est un système informatisé reliant les personnes appartenant à un même groupe d’intérêt (association, entreprise, organisme, etc.) pour des annonces, des discussions, le transfert de fichiers, etc. Appelé “babillard” par les Québécois.
