Ap. 2, 151) adv. of ἄτακτος in defiance of good order, disorderly, holding religious services without regard to established times arbitrarily 1 Cl 40:2 (w. εἰκῇ ‘at random’). ἀτάκτως περιπατεῖν behave irresponsibly 2 Th 3:6 (Isocr. 2m 31 ἀ. ζῆν) apparently without respect for established custom or received instruction, as the qualifying clause καὶ … ἡμῶν indicates (cp.
