Мы видим, как по ходу сюжета наполовину коррумпированный человек (персонаж Дэйвида Брайана) становится «героем» этой истории без героев. Амбициозная женщина, чуть было не заблудившаяся в своих мечтах о достатке, невольно окажется поборницей справедливости, пройдя через самые разные общественные слои города и самые показательные его районы.
