Мест, оркестр Гюрцених (Gürzenich-Orchester), "Кёльнарена" (Kölnarena) – один из самых больших концертных залов в Германии. С Кёльном связаны имена многих выдающихся деятелей литературы, искусства, науки, политики. Статус города с 50 г. Н.э. Основан на месте римского лагеря на левом берегу Рейна под названием Colonia Claudia Ara Agrippinensium (CCAA), в дальнейшем Cöln (Köln). В 90 г. Н.э.
