Друзья (в особенности Поль) пытаются донести до нее эту мысль, а заодно и сами стараются лучше ее понять. Поочередно черпая средства из арсенала комедии, авангардистского скетча, психологического и социального анализа, лирически-философских размышлений, «синема веритэ», этот фильм-расследование постоянно балансирует на грани пропасти.
