רָעַש(b. h.) to tremble, be in commotion, rage. Ex. R. s. 29 (ref. to Ps. 68:9) ומה אם … ארץ רָעֲשָׁהוכ׳ if the earth trembled when he gave life to the world, how much more (will it tremble), when he comes to Ib. השמים … רוֹעֲשִׁים heaven and earth tremble.
