(Var. lect. אצבין = אַצְוָוא?, אגטין.Sabb.20b, our w. appears as גושקרא, גשקרא, obviously a corruption of cissaros; Rashi ib. expl. ‘the shell of the cocoon, prob. confounding with chrysallis which is likewise named from its gold color.
