Pax 829 zu nehmen: εὐδαιμονέστερος φανεὶς τῶν Καρκίνου στροβίλων, komisch, die Söhne des Karkinus, welche Brummkreisel sind, wahrscheinlich Tänzer, od. nach den Schol. διὰ τὸ τραχὺ τοῠ σώματος ἢ πρὸς τὸ τοῠ Καρκίνου ὄνομα παίζων· ὀστρακόδερμοι γὰρ οἱ καρκίνοι καϑάπερ καὶ οἱ στρόβιλοι, τοὐτέστιν οἱ κοχλίαι ἢ οἱ ϑαλάττιοι κήρυκες, also auch eine Schneckenart; – Ion bei Ath.
