גּוֹאֵלm. (b. h.; גָּאַל) vindicator, redeemer, relative entitled to redemption (Lev. 25:25 sq.); in general relation.ג׳ הדם avenger of blood, nearest relation (Num. 35:19 sq.). Macc.II, 7.
