Презентация, представление. Оговоримся сразу: в российской деловой прессе термин pitch часто используется некорректно и путается с термином tender. Хоть «питч» может случиться во время «тендера», единовременность вовсе не означает равенства этих понятий. Питч - это самопрезентация рекламного агентства потенциальному клиенту. «На продажу» выставляются мозги агентства. На таком представлении агентство демонстрирует свои материалы, слайды, видеозаписи, иллюстративный материал и другие средства, показывающие организационную структуру агентства, результаты работ для других клиентов, виды обслуживаемых клиентов, квалификацию персонала, специализацию, основные и дополнительные тарифы и любую другую информацию, необходимую для привлечения эккаунта. Как правило, агентство использует заранее подготовленный материал, включающий текст и макет. Поскольку самопрезентация базируется на исследованиях агентства, работе художников, типографии и предусматривает другие незапланированные издержки, стоит она обычно недешево. Однако это вещь полезная. Другое значение термина - презентация, в результате которой продавец делает предложение (иногда очень даже настойчиво) потенциальному покупателю о продаже товара или получении заказа. При таком представлении продавец обычно начинает с положительных сторон товара, демонстрирует его свойства (концентрируя внимание на преимуществах), парирует возражения и в конце концов предлагает сделать заказ.
