(2) übertr. von anderen ähnlichen Werkzeugen; (a) ein Stab zum Umrühren; (b) ein hölzerner Pflock am Joche; (c) der lange starke Knochen des Schienbeins, der Röhrknochen; auch = die Wade; (d) die Meßrute, radius mathematicus; (e) Haarnadel, Haarkamm; (f) eine Pappelart, die Zitterespe, wegen des dem Geräusch der Weberlade ähnlichen Gesäusels ihrer Blätter; (g) im Theater die keilförmig zulaufenden Abteilungen der Sitze, cunei; (h) Stachel des Krampfrochen.
