HANG (hang up, hang around)проводить время, болтаться, тусоваться.Этим вот наши подростки в подворотнях занимаются.Hang around with — водиться (с кем-то), в той же подворотне.
Hang a left! (a huey, a louie) — поверни налево.
Hang a right (ralph) — поверни направо.
Hang loose — расслабься! Воспринимается как гавайское приветствие. Есть специальный жест такой (см. рис. (Hang loose! Расслабься! Дословно — скользи свободно. Пришло с Гавайев от любителей серфинга, иногда даже считается жестом-символом Гавайских островов) к главе: Глава 5. Сленг без слов), типа отдохни, перекури, остынь.
Hang up — бросить. Самое распространенное значение - положить телефонную трубку, прервать разговор.

Hang down — дословно: внизу болтается (а в нашей народной загадке еще добавляют, на какую букву называется), ну вот... (см. PRICK, DICK.) Cock тут не совсем то, он ведь все же не совсем болтается, а взводится и петушится. -
