Hif. הֶחֱלִיץ 1) to loosen, untie; 2) to gird, arm; 3) to deliver; 4) to smoothen, give ease of mind. Lev. R. s. 34 (ref. to יחליץ, Is. l. c.) יזיין (Ar. ישלוף) ישמוט ישזיב ויניח (which means) He shall loosen as in Deut. l. c., gird as ib.
