Le Peanut Reader est le logiciel de lecture développé en 2000 par la société Peanutpress.com, un éditeur et distributeur de livres numériques pour PDA (personal digital assistant). Peanutpress.com est racheté en mars 2001 par la société Palm. Le Peanut Reader devient le Palm Reader, développé ensuite par PalmSource, une division de Palm.
