(р. 1936) Виллелла, ЭдвардТанцор балета, хореограф. Немало сделал для популяризации балетной профессии среди мужчин. В 1956 окончил Мореходное училище штата Нью-Йорк [New York State Maritime College], в училище был чемпионом по боксу. В 1957 начал профессиональную карьеру танцора в Городском балете Нью-Йорка [ New York City Ballet], где рано стал получать главные роли, в том числе в экспериментальных постановках. Среди его работ партии в балетах "Блудный сын" ["Prodigal Son"] (1960), "Арлекинада" ["Harlequinade"] (1965), "Водяная мельница" ["Watermill"] (1972). Лауреат премии "Эмми" [ Emmy Award] 1976 за телепостановку детского балета "Арлекин" ["Harlequin"]. В 1978-79 председатель нью-йоркской Комиссии по вопросам культуры [Commission on Cultural Affairs].
