1.Процесс конвертации ценных бумаг в денежные средства (наличность). 2. Продажа активов компании одному или большему числу покупателей для уплаты долгов. Ликвидация компании (предприятия) может быть добровольной (по решению учредителей, соглашению между собственниками и кредиторами и др.) и принудительной (по решению суда). В случае, если компания ликвидируется, требования застрахованных и незастрахованных обладателей облигаций и привилегированных акций имеют приоритет перед требованиями тех, кто владеет простыми (обыкновенными) акциями.
