1. Банковский счет, с которого нельзя изымать деньги по ряду причин, наиболее вероятной из которых является та, что дела владельца счета находятся под контролем ликвидатора в связи с его банкротством (bankruptcy) или, в случае с компанией, ее ликвидацией (liquidation).
2. Банковский счет, открытый экспортером товаров в другой стране, на который могут зачисляться средства, поступающие от продажи товаров, однако их нельзя перевести в страну происхождения экспортера. Это, как правило, случается в результате государственного запрета на перевод средств в связи с недостатком иностранной валюты и необходимостью блокировать все счета, имеющие отношение к движению валюты.
