ṡrīṇáti, ṡrīṇīté (Gr. alsoﾠ pf. ṡiṡrāya, ṡiṡrīye;

<The word ṡrī is frequently used as an honorific prefix (= « sacred», « holy») to the names of deities (e.g.. Ṡri-Durgā, Ṡrī-Rāma), andﾠ may be repeated two, three, orﾠ even four times to express excessive veneration. (e.g.. Ṡrī-ṡrī-Durgā etc.);
it is alsoﾠ used as a respectful title (like « Reverend») to the names of eminent persons as well as of celebrated works andﾠ sacred objects
(e.g.. Ṡrī-Jayadeva. ṠrīBhāgavata), andﾠ is often placed at the beginning orﾠ back of letters, manuscripts, important documents etc.;
alsoﾠ before the words caraṇa andﾠ pāda « feet», andﾠ even the end of personal names.>
