Тизер - это разновидность баннера, специфическим образом подстроенная под дизайн конкретного сайта. Например, в интернет-магазине тизером может быть "модель дня" - блок, содержащий фотографию и описание одной из моделей продаваемых товаров.
Тизер обычно используется как инструмент для рекламы собственных материалов, разделов и служб сайта, но часть тизеров (как правило, существенно менее половины) может идти на продажу или на обмен.
Уши (ушки) - это тизеры, располагающиеся в верхней части страницы в количестве от трех до шести штук в ряд. Уши применяются в дизайне новостных сайтов и содержат анонсы свежих статей.
