ἔπι-πλα, τά (ion. ἐπίπλοα, nur Her. 1, 94, wo es entweder zu ändern, oder eingeschränkter das auf die Schifffahrt Bezügliche ist; den sing. ἔπιπλον führt Poll. 10, 11 aus Isae. an), Geräthschaften, bes. Hausgeräth, nach Poll. 10, 10 ἡ κούφη κτῆσις, wie Is. 8, 35 δι' ὧν ᾤκει τὴν οἰκίαν; übh. alles bewegliche Vermögen, im Ggstz der liegenden Güter, Her. 1, 150, 7, 119; Lys. 12, 19. 19, 30, wo es den σκεύη entspricht; vgl. Xen. Oec. 9, 6; bei Thuc. ἃ ἦν ἐν τῷ τείχει ἔπιπλα, χαλκὸς καὶ σίδηρος 3, 68; Harpocr. führt es auch aus Soph. (frg. 7) an u. erkl. τὴν οἷον ἐπιπόλαιον κτῆσιν καὶ μετακομίζεσϑαι δυναμένην.
