R. s. 27 לא אתא אלא לאתפוגגהוכ׳ he came only to sport with his children (not to argue with them seriously); ib. לא אתא אלא מתפגג׳ (read: מִתְפּוֹגְגָא); Yalk. Mic. 554 למתפונגא (corr. acc.); Num. R. s. 10; Cant. R. to V, 16 (not להתפ׳); Tanḥ. Emor 10. Ib. (read:) לא אתת דא אלא למִתְפַּגְּיָיא עם ברה this woman has come to court merely to have some sport with her son.
