R. s. 15, end ז׳ את הימיםוכ׳ He stirred the seas up and showed to him (Moses) Y.Ber.IX, 13c bot. אני מְזַעֲזֵעַ עולמי I will make my world quake. Orl. I, 3 זִיעֲזַעֵתּוֹ המחרישה the ploughshare loosened it (the roots of the tree); זִיעֲזָעוֹ ועשאו בעפר he (the husbandman) lifted the tree and placed it in soft earth (v. comment.). Hithpalp. הִזְדַּעְזֵעַ, Nithpa. נִזְדַּעְזֵעַ 1) to be shaken, frightened. Shebu.39a. Y.Ber.IV, 7b נִזְדַּעְזְעָה החומה the wall was removed from its place; B. Kam.82b נז׳א״י Palestine quaked. Cant.
