Ib. 2a הואי אמינא מאי מצאתיה ראיתיהוכ׳ I might have thought ‘I found it meant ‘I discovered it, although he had not taken it up Ib., a. e. וּמְצָאתָהּ דאתאי ליריהוכ׳ ‘and which thou hast found (Deut. 22:3) means that it came into his possession.
