1 Star Checks
A term given to a class of small colour check effects whose four sides are equal, so that the design produced has the same appearance from every view-point. They are used chiefly in woollen fabrics and are of two varieties, those where the stars appear in colour on a contrasting ground, and those where the entire surface of the cloth is covered with star checks, both the colours used forming stars of the same shape and size. -
