A printed twill cotton cloth, originally used for wraps, and printed in beautiful all-over effects - The quality being 64 ends and 64 picks per inch, 50's warp, 34's weft, to 36's warp and 40's weft. The term now denotes style of design, which is very bold and full of colour, all the face of the fabric being covered with pattern. -

An American term for heavy woollen cloth used for blankets and carriage rugs. Woven 2 X 2 twill, from coarse counts wool warp and waste wool weft. Made in check designs, the colours being very fast. Widths are 60-in. to 68 in. wide, and varying lengths, about 16-oz. per yard for 67-in.
