Метод оценки и пересмотра программ, одна из разновидностей систем сетевого планирования и управления, основанных на использовании понятия критического пути. В отличие от других аналогичных методов применяется для организации наиболее сложных систем, где нет основы для получения точных оценок времени, необходимого для выполнения каждой из работ и лишь оцениваются их вероятности. В системе П. используются три основные переменные: время, ресурсы, этапы выполнения. Такую систему называют также PERT-time (П.-время). В случае, когда задачей является снижение издержек на выполнение программы, применяется вариант PERT-cost («П.-стоимость»), который включает еще и переменную «затраты«.
